As an INFP I have told my ISTJ husband numerous times that I would love for him to get inside my head and see my amazing internal world.
I think you nailed every one of these! Well done!
Hello. Thank You for this site. I REALLY Love it! I just find it difficult to go back and forth from another MBTI personality site to check the assortment of letters with the names. I like learning abt other types as well not just My own. Just a suggestion. Ex. Mediator (INFP)
Morning!! my name is Ben.date of birth 1963/February/12. please indicate to me my personality type?
Hi Ben! I think maybe you’re mixing MBTI up with astrology? We don’t determine type by birthdate – type is determined by your mental preferences 🙂 A good test to find your type is at personalityhacker.com
Ha! I am a retired (mostly airline) pilot who was a captain for the majority of my career and it would appear that my ISFJ personality was not the ideal type according to some experts! Didn’t run into any problems though, so go figure.
Apparently, I would have made a good nurse or doctor though…..
The things you said people love about ENTPs, most people don’t love those things about my type. They’re highly protective of their irrational traditions and conflate debate and argument. Our unique style largely goes unappreciated.
I can’t figure out which one I’m more of out of INFP or INTJ
People are very complex. I think you need to read about the two types of intuition on Psychology Junkie or Personality Hacker and do some honest self-reflection and introspection without trying to convince yourself of anything (because thinking is fun and informative, for me anyway).
INTJs like me lead with Introverted Intuition, and INFPs like my sister have auxiliary Extroverted Intuition. Also, regardless of whether you want to laugh, Psychology Junkie has memes for both types. Chances are that if you relate personally to one set of memes more than the other, you might have that type’s preferences. However, life experience can impact the expression of one’s type. One of my favorite ESFP YouTubers thought for the longest time that she had INTJ preferences because her life experiences taught her to behave in a much more “IxxJ” way than what I would assume is normal for ESFPs and many of the personality tests she took focused on behavior. What ultimately determines type is how a person thinks.
Personality Hacker and Psychology Junkie have great personality tests, and Personality Hacker, I believe, offers typing sessions that cost money. (I forgot the price, though.)
I hope that helps.
I (INTJ) appreciate those things about your type.
Maybe the NTs around you will appreciate your type’s independent, logical thinking, too.
I also have felt frustration when people call arguments debates, insist on doing things that don’t produce good results for tradition’s sake or other irrational reasons even after knowing that their behavior does not work, and devalue what I bring to the table because I see things differently (and do not possess much skill at using my Trickster Extroverted Feeling for good). Okay, INTJs and ENTPs are different, but, as NTs, we struggle with similar types of things.
