  1. Okay. I love these articles but honestly, as an INTP (female if that matters, also officially tested as an INTP) i am so tired of my tastes always being labeled Star Wars. I *hate* Star Wars! But i think in about 7 different articles now its been *haha intp we got you covered with your super pew pew silly space star wars.* NO. Lord of the Rings, Middle Earth would’ve worked for me. Something complex and creative with an element of meaning. Star Wars and its terrible ridiculous movies, particularly the newer ones???? No! Truth seeking Logicians doubtfully find much meaning in the superficially flashy world of ridiculous Star Wars. No other INTP i know likes Star Wars! Try Sherlock Holmes.

    1. Star Wars is all about mythology (and I know a whole lot of INTPs who would disagree with you). If that isn’t your game, so be it. I think Susan was talking in general terms. She said ENTPs should be in Discworld, and I am very content with that notion, but I wouldn’t turn down Star Wars, Star Trek, Middle Earth, or OZ, either.

What do you think about Star Trek? Very logical, “sciency” attempts to be somewhat closer to how we would imagine “real life,” several centuries into the future, but also deals with a host of ethical and philosophical issues. If you have not seen Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, on Paramount+, I highly recommend it.

  2. My istp daughter would love to live in the world of pokemon. My estj friend would love to live in neverland. I think the hunger games world is better suited for estp. I think esfp’s ideal world would be an eternal high school. Maybe grease?
I love those pictures you used of neverland and oz!
I never read lord of the rings, but i read the hobbit but didn’t care for that world. I will have to look into the wheel of time….

  3. As an ENTP, I absolutely LOVE Discworld (I wore out a copy of Night Watch) but I wouldn’t turn down Star Wars, Star Trek, or Oz either.

  4. I’m an ESTP, and I love camp Halfblood. I’m a daughter of Athena, and my best friend is Clarisse. One night, we snuck out and spray painted my whole cabin in colorful owls because grey is a stupid color. I’m more into the crafts and learning part of being an Athena kid than the war part.

  5. There are a few I would switch around; for instance, I could more easily see Pokemon being the world of ISFps than of ENFjs, and Narnia for INFps. ENFjs might work in something like the Outlander world, where they are able to help people from different time periods with the various challenges they face.

  6. For the ISTPs, allow me to instead propose two fantasy franchises which have held my interests for years—Ace Attorney and Yu-Gi-Oh.

Both are going to provide plenty to keep Ti happily occupied. (Ace Attorney’s court cases and their ever changing evidence and suppositions, which require understanding and finding contradictions between the evidence and the testimonies are very Ti friendly. And the deep magic of Yu-Gi-Oh is a complicated card game often played for very high stakes, which is also likely to appeal to an ISTP.)

Ace Attorney lawyers also function like detectives, investigating crime scenes first hand, so Se will get to come out and play in a key way. (And the world has spirit mediums who physically change into the shape of the spirits they channel, so it’s definitely fantasy.)

Yu-Gi-Oh has *seven* different animes, so the franchise has a lot to offer ISTPs in addition to a card game based magic and combat system, such as: fighting against evil magical villains, punching people, trips to space, riding motorcycles, time travel, holograms, inter-dimensional travel, true virtual reality, sentient AI beings, computer programming, and a bunch of people who are clear about who they are and what they want. (The last one is great when working with low Fe.)
