  1. Welll, lol, I must say, as a nine, there’s just something about Portland that strikes me as almost fake-ish maybe…. but the rain & dreariness would be a huge drawback for me. I’ve always looked at the city w/the opposite of that, Yuma AZ, the sunniest city!! (that is in part due to me having RA, where weather matters a great deal) But the cheeriness of sunshine gives me positive charges that energize me & make me feel happy! If I wish to ever retreat from the sunshine, I have a room that’s ‘blacked out’ & I can be in the dark & quiet & peace anytime I need it. There’s lots of nature things to do there & lose urself hiking about in nature, with old mines to explore as well. Also to add to that is the historical aspect & allure of the city. To learn about history in the area & see the various things preserved etc… Even tho very introverted (I’m also INFP) I could see myself volunteering doing something w/history, giving a tour to tourists once or twice a week, maybe more if it really suited me. Its a smaller city in comparison to the giant cities that swallow you whole. Too busy, hustle bustle around. Here it’d still be very much tranquil, peaceful, quiet, sunny, warm, inviting & I’d absolutely have my spots to go & frequent & I’d love to spread info & learn as much as I could about the history there & surrounding areas. The mines are esp interesting as it combines history ‘in’ nature. Which is awesome to me. But that’s just me & how I’ve always, for years thought about there as a dream location to live (just a dream tho) & my reasons why… I wonder if any other nines agree with me…?? Or even dare I say INFP, as I’m not sure which one pulls me to that city the most!!

  2. My test results shows I am Enneagram Type Nine. My ideal city is Seattle, WA. Never been there, but would like to see it. I do love chill and calm places, with lots of greenery, exactly as described here.

  3. I’m a 2 and left Arlington, Texas for Las Vegas and I LOVE it here and consider it my permanent home now. It’s so laid back and happy for the most part.

  4. Wrong! An 8 that has visited Chicago many, many times. Lot’s of good people live there, though I cannot fathom why….
Give me a deserted island with King Kong, as my neighbor and I will consider it.

  5. Would be true if I didn’t hate all big cities. Portland only allows weirdness if you’re of the same political party as them….
