The Iconic Movie Quote You’ll Relate to, Based On Your Myers-Briggs® Personality Type
The ENFP
“Hyperbole isn’t the worst crime. Men suffer more from imagining too little than too much.” –P.T. Barnum, The Greatest Showman
“Don’t ever let somebody tell you you can’t do something, not even me. Alright? You dream, you gotta protect it. People can’t do something themselves, they wanna tell you you can’t do it. If you want something, go get it. Period.” – Chris Gardner, The Pursuit of Happyness
The ENTP
“Listen up, maggots. You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You’re the same decaying organic matter as everything else.”
“I say never be complete, I say stop being perfect, I say let… lets evolve, let the chips fall where they may.” – Tyler Durden, Fight Club
The INFP
“No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world.” – John Keating, Dead Poets Society
“To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, to draw closer, to find each other and to feel. That is the purpose of life.” – Walter Mitty, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
The INTP
“Knowledge isn’t truth. It’s just mindless agreement. You agree with me, I agree with someone else – we all have knowledge. We haven’t come any closer to the truth. You can never understand anything by agreeing, by making definitions. Only by turning over the possibilities. That’s called thinking. If I say I know, I stop thinking. As long as I keep thinking, I come to understand. That way, I might approach some truth.” – The Professor, Insignificance
The ENFJ
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” – Timo Cruz, Coach Carter
The ENTJ
“The only thing standing between you and your goal is the bullsh*t story you keep telling yourself as to why you can’t achieve it.” – Jordan Belfort, Wolf of Wall Street
The INFJ
“You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view… Until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it.” – Atticus Finch, To Kill A Mockingbird
“I believe one should fight for what one believes. Provided one is absolutely sure one is absolutely right.” – Mark Thackeray, To Sir, With Love
The INTJ
“The unknown. That is where my imagination yearns to venture. And so the question plagues me still: How does a man come to know the unknowable?” – Herman Melville, In the Heart of the Sea
“What is the most resilient parasite? Bacteria? A virus? An intestinal worm? An idea. Resilient… highly contagious. Once an idea has taken hold of the brain it’s almost impossible to eradicate. An idea that is fully formed – fully understood – that sticks; right in there somewhere.” – Cobb, Inception
The ESFP
“Life is not the number of breaths you take, it’s the moments that take your breath away.” – Hitch
“A laugh can be a very powerful thing. Why, sometimes in life, it’s the only weapon we have.” – Roger Rabbit
The ESTP
“You control your destiny – you don’t need magic to do it. And there are no magical shortcuts to solving your problems.” – Merida, Brave
“I don’t regret the things I’ve done, but those I did not do.” – Lucas, Empire Records
The ISFP
“Me, I still believe in paradise. But now at least I know it’s not some place you can look for because it’s not where you go. It’s how you feel for a moment in your life when you’re a part of something and if you find that moment, it lasts forever.” – Richard, The Beach
“Can you hear it? The music? I can hear it everywhere. In the wind, in the air, in the light. It’s all around us. All you have to do is open yourself up. All you have to do…is listen.” – Evan Taylor, August Rush
The ISTP
“There is surely nothing other than the single purpose of the moment. A man’s whole life is a succession of moment after moment. If one fully understands the present moment, there is nothing left to do, and nothing else to pursue.” – Yamamoto Tsunetomo, Ghost Dog
“You’ve got to ask yourself one question: ‘Do I feel lucky?’ Well, do ya, punk?” – Dirty Harry
The ESFJ
“Strange, isn’t it? Each man’s life touches so many other lives. When he isn’t around he leaves an awful hole, doesn’t he?” – Clarence the Angel, It’s a Wonderful Life
The ESTJ
“Nobody is gonna hit as hard as life, but it ain’t how hard you can hit. It’s how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. It’s how much you can take, and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done.” – Rocky Balboa
“Do, or do not. There is no “‘try’” – Yoda, Star Wars
The ISFJ
“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” – Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
“Ah yes, the past can hurt. But the way I see it, you can either run from it, or, learn from it.” – Rafiki, The Lion King
The ISTJ
“If you think about the very nature of life – I mean, on the very beginning, the development of the first cell divided into two cells – the sole purpose of life has been to pass on what was learned.” – Professor Norman, Lucy
“With great power comes great responsibility.” – Uncle Ben, Spider Man

I’m an entp and this has always been my favorite quote! Well done!
Totally in resonance with the INFJ quotes plus somewhat with INTJ, and the rest were pretty remote. Thanks. Interesting. Personally, I think my personality is a better fit with INTJ, but the INFJ quotes were perfect for me.
I don’t agree- should be estj but my quotes ould be from esfp.
